I am proud to announce a 2nd place award in the Black and White Spider Awards in the Architecture category.

Congrats to all the nominees and award winners in all categories.   I enjoyed watching the Spider Awards online and moving through all of the nominees and picking my favorites and then seeing who won according to the jurors.  They did a great job and again all the nominated photo’s were pretty awesome.  It is an honor to be nominated let alone actually taking a 2nd place.  I know that I shouldn’t put emphasis on awards and I should just shoot what I love and then post process what I see in my minds eye, but getting accolades from your peers is rewarding.  It also lets me know I am not crazy.  What I like in my own photography and what I find worthy to post other professional photographers do also I find that rewarding.  I want to say that these feelings are normal and the natural progression of my own photography maturity.  As I find confidence in my photography and artwork I will not need these types of awards or not put so much emphasis on them.  But until that time once again I am honored and proud to receive this award.
